SONKO IMPOSES HIS LEADERSHIP: reforms and breakthrough governance
Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko reaffirmed his leadership in front of the National Assembly during the well-attended current affairs question session, by detailing the reforms and breakthrough measures undertaken by his government. From transparency on public debt, to the reorganization of urban space, the reduction of energy costs and the management of sensitive issues, Sonko delivered a structured, firm and offensive speech. Parliamentarians, but also public opinion, were thus able to gauge the determination of the head of government to drive forward a new model of governance, based on accountability, economic sovereignty and respect for civic values.
